"What are you afraid of?": a new catalogue book from the center for contemporary arts Winzavod

The publishing program of the Winzavod Center for Contemporary Art has released a catalogue for the exhibition of the same name, which was curated by Elena Selina, the founder of XL Gallery. The book is divided into two parts, one of which documents the exhibition, and the other brings together research materials examining the phenomena of fear and anxiety through the lens of the humanities.

We are publishing an article by Daria Pyrkina, an art historian and the author of the book, in which she traces the evolution of interest in the terrifying in the history of art.
